Hugh Lamb was one of the most well-respected and prolific anthologists of vintage tales of the macabre for over 45 years. He was also my father, and he seriously needed a website.
The Project
Hugh Lamb collected and edited vintage tales of the supernatural and macabre for 45 years, earning a reputation as one the UK’s foremost authorities on Victorian ghost stories. When HarperCollins announced that they would be publishing three new editions after a long hiatus, he decided it was time for a website!
We decided to keep it simple. The site features an About Page, a blog-based News Page, and a complete Bibliography, with links to buy the new books. There is also much scope for expansion of the site, which turned out to be a blessing when his son, Richard (me) decided to carry on his publishing legacy after his passing.
